- RDPE support from Yorkshire Forward is available for farmers and rural entrepreneurs to support the start up of new businesses and the growth of existing enterprises. The fund will also support skills development in agriculture and forestry, and help communities to make the most of their local heritage and cultural assets.
- The Rural Development Programme for England can be accessed through the following programmes:
- Rural Enterprise Investment Programme (REIP) – helping rural businesses grow and become more productive;
- Rural Business Start Up (RBSUP) – helping develop new rural businesses;
- LandSkills – improving skills specific to the region’s agricultural, horticultural and forestry sectors;
- Farm Resource Efficiency Programme (FREP) - a capital grants programme available to improve the overall economic performance of livestock holdings through the introduction of new technologies to promote energy, manure and water resource efficiency;
- Leader – A rural community economic development approach.
